Telos Growcast is a universal lighting controller that helps growers to save energy and grow better plants. Growcast is compatible with many existing grow lights from major manufacturers.
Wirelessly connect to Growcast and control the precise PPF output (dimming) of your grow light. Say goodbye to mechanical timers by applying on/off timing schedules with an optional sunrise and sunset feature.
Growcast doesn’t need an internet connection to work and is instead programmed locally using the secure & encrypted Telos Mesh App, available for Android and iPhone.
The device has a simple plug-and-play set up and connects directly to the existing 1-10V dimming port available on most grow lights.

Optimize your lighting schedules with Precise PPFD
Right now most growers are using dimmers that display a percentage that is completely inaccurate to the actual amount of light output their setting. The precise PPFD feature maps measured photometric data to your grow room and calculates the average PPFD value across the canopy in real-time.
Growcast sets the light output using quantifiable data and provides power consumption and efficiency monitoring.
Replace mechanical timers with smooth on/off dimming
With a Growcast connected you don’t need any heavy-duty contactor panels to switch your grow lights on and off. Simply set a schedule in the app and the Sunrise/Sunset feature smoothly dims your lights on and off from stand-by mode.
By gradually changing the power consumption you protect your equipment from current surges caused by switching large AC loads.
Technology Claim
Growcast uses a new, completely decentralized Bluetooth control technology called Telos Mesh. Simply plug your device in and tap “add” in the Telos app and the networks created.
Each new Growcast added to the network increases the range, forwarding on messages to other devices rather than reporting back to a central router or controller.
Grow more efficiently with data-driven control
Optimise your lighting levels to maximise growth whilst saving energy. The precise PPFD control inside Telos Mesh allows growers to follow a lighting schedule in a similar way to existing feed/nutrient schedules. Growcast can help you get the most from your existing grow lights by keeping lighting levels below the light saturation point of your plants, avoiding energy wastage.
All plants have what's known as a light saturation point. This is the point at which they have received too much light and the plant stops photosynthesizing. Plants naturally recover from reaching their saturation point and can stop/start this process several times a day, but recovery time varies from plant to plant. Once a plant reaches its saturation level, lights that remain on are simply wasting energy, as the plant can no longer use this light to photosynthesize.
Plants that are regularly over-saturated can develop slower due to the time required to recover from over-saturation. This effect can create a vicious circle where growers see slower development and try to add more light to remedy the problem which further slows development and wastes energy, incurring additional growing costs.
By keeping the light level below the saturation point for each week of growth the plants will grow noticeably faster and transpire less, reducing environmental management and water use. Below is an example of a PPFD schedule for short-day medical cannabis plants which was developed by Telos in collaboration with Telos' research partners.
Privacy lock- All wireless networks produce what's called an advertising signal so when you want to find and connect to the network it'll show up in a scan. We have developed a proprietary technology called network lock that allows you to quickly turn this advertising on/off for the whole network without impeding your own access. This feature can be hugely beneficial for data security, site security and for minimizing interference with other devices.
Maintain your schedules even if there's been a power cut- Each Growcast has a cutting-edge supercapacitor backup circuit which allows the device to continue keeping the correct time for at least 24 hours. Unlike traditional battery backup circuits, the supercapacitor doesn't ever need to be changed for this function to keep working.
Make quick changes with the responsive touch control sensor- The Growcast has a built in water tolerant touch sensor so you can make quick changes to the output, unlock the network from privacy lock mode or reset the hardware at a touch of a button without needing to open the app. The touch sensor has specific software to reliably distinguish between being pressed by a person intentionally or having water dropped on it.
Get instant feedback with an intelligent RGB LED display- Each Growcast has a bright RGB display that can quickly and intuitively tell you what mode it's in and whether a schedule is running or not. During a lights-off period, the Growcast only emits green so that it doesn't interrupt the plant's circadian cycle.
Don't get stuck with obsolete tech- We've designed the Growcast with future mind and with the Telos ethos that growers should be able to update rather than replace. Order Confirmation
As soon as you place the order, an order confirmation will be emailed to you. This means we have received your order and payment. Payment is captured as soon as the order is placed. In rare cases, if the product is on backorder or unavailable, we will contact you and ask if you would like to wait for the product to become available, switch your product, or have your payment refunded. If the item is available for shipment we will submit the order for processing and arrange shipment. Please see current estimated lead times on the product page for each product.

Order Shipment
Most products ship within 2 to 3 business days from the date of your order (unless indicated on the product page). Some items take a bit longer to ship since they are built to order (i.e. ChilLED Tech, Trimmers, etc). We will send you tracking information as soon as it is available. If a week has gone by and you do not have tracking information yet, please reach out to us.
U.S. Shipping
We are based in Portland, Oregon with warehouses nationwide. We offer FREE shipping in the lower 48 states (sometimes to HI and AK, too) via FedEx, UPS, USPS or other major couriers (product/brand dependent). Expedited shipping is usually available for an extra cost. Contact us before your purchase if you prefer an expedited shipping method and we will get you a quote.
After the order is processed, allow 2 to 7 business days for the product(s) to reach you if shipped to a U.S. address. We can ship to PO boxes in some cases. We recommend using a street/residential address instead.
International Orders
Nearly all of our brands can be shipped internationally using FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL or other couriers.Most quotes can be obtained at checkout. If not, please email us to receive a shipping quote for lights shipped outside of the USA. You may also place an order on our online store for items that require a quote and we will notify you via email on the exact shipping costs.
Some items/brands can be shipped for free.
Items shipped internationally from the USA may have VAT, duties, taxes, and/or local charges due at delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and not LED Grow Lights Depot.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, we recommend reaching out to us ASAP. We charge a 2.9% (credit card), 3.5% (PayPal), 4.0% (PayPal International), 4.1% (American Express), or 6.5% (Shop Pay Installments or Sezzle) order cancellation fee after the order was received. We can accommodate most requests, but due to the different time zones and schedules that our warehouses ship from, sometimes the cancellation request may not reach the warehouse in time before the product ships. Once the item has been arranged to ship or has shipped, the package will be treated like a 'return' and is subject to ship-back fees and restocking fees. If you purchased 'Route Package Protection', this can not be refunded after the order has shipped.
All EZTrim orders are final and non-refundable or returnable.

Refunds: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal of the order. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included.

I was having problems with my grow. I contacted led grow lights depot about it for some advice.
Erik responded and gave me some advice. He said just add supplemental lighting. But I was really happy with the lights I had. So he gave me some really good options. After going back and forth, I decided to go with the Mammoth lighting mint 8 bar 880w with the add on uv light. I also got the GrowCast controller. I did have to wait for the lights, but boy are they worth the wait. The GrowCast controller works well for one or a group of light that need to work together. Once I received the uv lights, I realized that I needed to controll the 8 bar and the uv separately. So I contacted Erik again and he told me the GrowCast would not work the way I needed and then told me Mammoth just released a new controller that would work for my needs. Of course I was disappointed that I just bought the GrowCast but what can you do. Technology moves fast.
Overall my experience was extremely positive and I will shop here again.

Worked for about a month

You can't go wrong with this .
I recommend this to every led grower I come across! It does the same thing my growers choice master light controller does but much much more and half the price . Plus it's from the convenience of my phone rather than mounting it to a wall and having to get up and manually switch things and it's universal to more than just growers choice. I'm currently using on my new 8 bar mammoths mint white series . Which btw I love my ROI's but these put them to shame . So I have been running the unit for about 3 weeks now and it's performing great only complaint I have is sometimes it takes a while to pair with the app even when in very close proximity like less than 5 feet but other than that the scheduling is easy to use the sunrise sunset featur works for my lights so overall I'm happy
